Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology - Per Diem

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes and coordinating care among nursing peers and support services.

• Pay: $45/hour
• Location: North Bergen, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Per Diem

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify variables in patient/family education needs.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.

• Education:
  • Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required.
  • BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Experience:
  • 6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
