Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery - Nights

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery provides direct care to patients, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to patient care and possess strong critical thinking skills.

• Pay: $45 - $45/hour
• Location: North Bergen, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient care.

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.

• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
