EXP is a fast-growing produce company specializing in importing premium fruits and vegetables from Latin America into the U.S. market. We handle packing and repacking operations locally and partner with major retailers to bring fresh, high-quality products to shelves across the country. We are seeking a Sales Manager in Maryland to grow our retail footprint, expand customer relationships, and drive revenue in one of our key markets.

• Develop and manage sales strategies to increase our presence with retail chains and independent grocers throughout the country.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with buyers, category managers, and distributors.
• Identify new business opportunities in the region and work closely with our operations and logistics teams to meet client needs.
• Stay up to date on produce trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to position EXP competitively.
• Track sales metrics, provide accurate forecasts, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote our product lines and strengthen brand recognition.

• 3 to 5+ years of proven sales experience in the produce industry, food distribution, or related perishable goods sectors.
• Understanding of retail produce buying cycles, quality standards, and seasonal supply dynamics.
• Based in Maryland with the ability to travel throughout the region.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with retail supply chains, packing/repacking, and inventory planning.
• Comfortable with CRM tools and sales reporting.
• Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and passionate about fresh produce and the retail market.
• Produce Procurement / Sourcing experience is a plus.
• Experience using Famous Software is a plus.
