Do you love tracking down the root cause of a fault—whether it’s a sensor, relay, or motor drive? Can you switch between English and Spanish to coordinate with operators and supervisors on the fly? At Hudson Bread Company, an artisan bakery serving the Tri-State area, we’re searching for a mid-level Industrial Equipment Reliability Mechanic who keeps production reliable and safe.
What You’ll DoOwn preventive maintenance for bakery and packaging equipment to reduce unplanned downtime.
Pinpoint and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Troubleshoot motors, relays, sensors, control panels, and related components.
Assist with PLC-related diagnostics (Siemens experience is a strong plus).Handle emergency and unscheduled repairs when lines go down.
Interpret manuals, drawings, and work orders to plan and execute tasks.
Keep your area OSHA-compliant—clean, organized, and safe.
Coordinate with production to prioritize repairs and restart lines quickly.
Update maintenance records and help manage spare parts.
Contribute to small facility and equipment improvement projects.
Must-Haves3–5 years in industrial maintenance or mechanical roles.
Strong electrical troubleshooting ability (required).Mechanical experience with motors, conveyors, belts, and drive systems.
Foundational knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
PLC troubleshooting is a plus (Siemens familiarity beneficial).Self-directed with quick response to equipment issues.
Comfort with email, work orders, and basic maintenance software.
Background in food production or manufacturing is a plus.
