Delivery Driver

Location: North Bergen

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM;
Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Our client is a respected manufacturer and service provider of industrial pumps and pump support equipment. They are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to transport pumps, parts, and equipment throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut region.

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading pumps, parts, and related equipment to customer locations throughout the tri-state area. The ideal candidate has experience driving delivery vans in and around New York City, maintains a clean driving record, and is comfortable handling physical loading and unloading duties.

• Safely operate a company delivery van throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload pumps, parts, and equipment at customer locations.
• Perform deliveries and pickups according to scheduled routes and customer requirements.
• Ensure all products are handled carefully and delivered in excellent condition.
• Maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and proof of delivery documentation.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations.
• Assist with warehouse and shop duties when not making deliveries.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.

• Previous experience driving a delivery van or commercial vehicle.
• Experience navigating and driving throughout the NYC metropolitan area and tri-state region.
• Valid driver's license with a clean DMV driving record.
• Strong knowledge of local highways, boroughs, bridges, tunnels, and traffic patterns.
• Ability to safely load and unload equipment and materials.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety conscious.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to load and unload equipment throughout the workday.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb in and out of delivery vehicles frequently.

• $20.00 per hour
• Consistent daytime schedule
• Early finish every Friday at 2:00 PM
