Midday Supervisor

Main Purpose

To supervise children during lunch time whilst eating and supporting their play and caring for their needs during the lunchtime period.

• Patience, positivity and a love for working with children.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A team player who is eager to help children thrive.

• To make the lunchtime an enjoyable and exciting part of the day
• Promoting positive behaviour and manners.
• To promote inclusion of all the pupils in the school
• Supporting children to become independent at eating (e.g. teaching children knife and fork skills)
• Administer first aid and help to maintain records
• Ensure the eating environment is clean
• Promoting the school’s lunchtime vision
