The Role

At Leuchie, we do things a little differently.

We’re a forward-thinking and innovative healthcare charity providing exceptional respite holidays for adults with long-term neurological conditions. Our guests come to Leuchie to relax, have fun, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy experiences they may not otherwise have the opportunity to access.

As a key member of our multi-disciplinary care team, you’ll play an important part in making those experiences possible. You’ll provide person-centred care while supporting guests throughout their stay, including personal care and evening activities.

This is a 24-hour per fortnight position, working Friday and Saturday, with every second weekend off.

It’s a great opportunity for someone looking for a regular part-time pattern with plenty of time off between working weekends.

What You'll Be Doing

Care & Support

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each guest
  • Support guests with daily living, including personal care and nutrition
  • Promote dignity, independence, equality and choice at all times
  • Support the emotional, pastoral and spiritual wellbeing of guests and their families
  • Contribute to shift handovers and ongoing care reviews

Guest Experience

  • Help create a warm, welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest
  • Support guest activities, outings and appointments
  • Assist with guest admissions and departures

Working as a Team

  • Work collaboratively with our care and wider multi-disciplinary teams
  • Support colleagues to maintain high standards of care
  • Support and guide other members of the team, including training where required
About You

No previous care experience is necessary, we’ll provide full training and support.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial due to our rural location.

Salary & Benefits
  • £13.78 – £14.05 per hour, depending on experience
