Summary:

Planning teams supporting out-of-hours operations, Contract Transport & Dedicated Coverage & Full Load Distribution Note all applications are being sent directly to the client to speed up the application process.

Summary:

The purpose of the role is to safely transport customer goods from collection to delivery sites, spending nights out in a dedicated HGV vehicle through the course of your shift pattern. Ensuring compliance and health and safety is conducted at all times. Requiring a professional and safety conscious attitude. Ensure safe and efficient loading of your vehicle, carry out all necessary safety checks using an app and ensure customer paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the office.

Experience & knowledge needed:
Curtain sided trailer experience In-date CPC 2 years (preferred) of HGV driving experience Full UK CE (Class
1) licence Good understanding of UK Road Network and Health & Safety procedures Understand and comply to tachograph and driving hour regulations Knowledge of drivers hours, tachograph and WTD legislation Understanding of load security UK road law knowledge / highway code Clean licence preferred, no serious endorsements Prioritise and plan workloads in line with company KPI's Operate vehicles ensuring optimisation of revenue Ability to adapt in a changing environment Working conditions Driving based role, allocated own unit, vehicle must be kept clean and tidy.
