About the Role
We are seeking passionate Behavior Technicians / RBTs to join our growing ABA team serving children and adolescents in Montgomery County. Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will provide evidence-based, assent-focused ABA services that help children build meaningful skills and reduce barriers to learning. This position delivers direct 1:1 services in homes, schools, community settings, and/or our ABA center (located in Rockville, MD).
What You’ll Do- Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services as outlined in the individualized treatment plan.
- Teach communication, social, daily living, and coping skills using high-quality, trauma-informed, and assent-based practices.
- Implement behavior-support strategies safely and consistently.
- Collect accurate session data and complete electronic documentation in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with caregivers, school teams, and your supervising BCBA.
- Participate in required supervision, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with IBHS regulations and agency policies.
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred);
or - BCaBA ;
or - High school diploma and completion of a 40-hour RBT Task List training
;
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or higher.
- Reliable transportation for travel between service locations—willingness to travel up to 45 minutes.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of working in dynamic environments.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with children and families.
