St. Brendan Catholic School seeks a Lunchroom Assistant Substitute to assist with lunchroom operations and student supervision as needed. St. Brendan Catholic School is located in Bothell, WA (25 minutes from Seattle). This is an on-call position
.
We have one class per grade in preschool through 8th grade, with a total of 240 students. The mission of St. Brendan Catholic School, in partnership with parents and the parish community, is to educate and empower students to act as Disciples of Christ, pursue academic excellence, and serve the Church and global community.
Qualifications:- Enjoy working with children and demonstrate patience, kindness, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to provide appropriate student supervision and maintain a safe, orderly lunchroom environment.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and cleaning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and follow established procedures.
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Must pass a background check and complete required Safe Environment training.
- Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring a safe, positive, and orderly environment.
- Assist students as needed during lunchtime and reinforce appropriate behavior and lunchroom expectations.
- Assist with lunch setup, student check in, food distribution, and other lunchroom operations as needed.
- Clean and sanitize lunch tables, counters, and other lunchroom surfaces between lunch periods.
- Assist with sweeping and general lunchroom cleanup.
- Follow school health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure efficient lunchroom operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The range of hourly rate is $18-$22 per hour Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
