Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Clinic RN for a primary care clinic requiring active WA or compact RN license, BLS, and comfort working independently.

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact license required
• BLS certification required
• Familiarity with Kaiser Permanente systems and/or primary care experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Primary care outpatient clinic setting
• Patient population spans all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics
• RN will be the sole nurse in the clinic for a few days of the week
• Daily duties include inbasket management, triage, telephone calls, results review, and outreach
• Occasional MOCA geriatric screening exams and wound consultations
• May be asked to administer seasonal flu, COVID, and/or RSV vaccines
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Works closely with providers in a collaborative primary care team
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
