IOP Program Assistant – Support, Organize, and Make a Difference!
Are you passionate about helping children and adolescents succeed in a structured, supportive environment? BHcare is seeking an IOP Program Assistant to provide behavioral support during group sessions and assist with administrative and case coordination tasks.
This position is 22.5 hours per week, Monday: 12:00pm-5:30pm, Tuesday: 12:30pm-6:30pm, Wednesday: 11:30am-5:30pm, and Thursday: 12:30pm-5:30pm.
What You’ll Do:- Assist children in following program rules and engaging in group activities
- Support clinicians in maintaining a safe and structured environment
- Coordinate case management and maintain accurate client records
- Prepare and distribute weekly reports for IOP staff
- Manage program supplies and facilitate communication with prior treatment providers
- Provide individual support to clients during moments of crisis
- Attend team meetings and participate in training for professional development
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field required - Experience:
1+ year working with children/adolescents in behavioral health or special education (preferred) - Tech
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR) - Team Player:
Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Bachelors degree in human services related field required
- One year of experience in a setting serving children and adolescents with mental, behavioral or special education needs in a paraprofessional position is preferred
- Must have working knowledge of computer applications, and ability to navigate electronic health record
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid/AED
