This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power division factory in North Canton, OH.

• Review, plan, and estimate time on job
• Create customer approval drawings
• Lay out, design, and detail CAD drawings
• Requisition parts to be purchased
• Troubleshoot issues between design and factory floor
• Generate project bills of material
• Conduct occasional field measurement trips
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform other related duties as assigned

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for understanding and working towards company goals and objectives as well as actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.

• Minimum of two years of drafting experience, to include sheet metal fabrication
• Minimum of one year of switch gear design and CAD drafting experience
