Essential Functions- Troubleshooting industrial controls such as PLCs, servos, HMIs, motors, printers, cameras, etc.
- Build electrical control panels for automated and semi‑automated equipment.
- Modify or upgrade existing controls on equipment to improve process or meet requirements.
- Program PLCs and HMIs.
- Collaborate across multiple internal groups.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance in the assembly and building of equipment.
- Maintain and update electrical drawings.
- Work with outside vendors to procure equipment.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Basic circuit and wiring knowledge is required.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or related field. Junior or Senior preferred.
- Must be able to work full time (40 hour weeks) for the Co‑Op term.
- Effective oral, written, and PC skills mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.
- Basic programming and network knowledge is preferred.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
