Responsible for managing moderate‑complexity environmental projects in air, water, waste and remediation. Requires functional and technical expertise in environmental policy, compliance, and risk management.
Responsibilities- Develops, maintains, and provides guidance on environmental processes/policies; conducts required environmental training.
- Assesses environmental risk, provides recommendations, and participates in or handles approved courses of action, including required regulatory documentation.
- Participates in environmental project planning and implementation, including scheduling, cost estimating, and preparation of environmental impact assessments and reporting.
- Prepares and submits sophisticated applications for environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations; coordinates with company partners.
- Performs environmental compliance audits and due‑diligence investigations as needed.
- Develops, recommends, and implements improvements for systems and practices in air, water, waste management, or remediation activities for assigned areas.
- Assists with preparation of all required compliance reports/certifications and maintains documentation related to environmental compliance programs.
- Cultivates relationships between Williams and regulatory agencies.
- Interprets applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations and ensures compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum four (4) years’ environmental experience.
- Knowledge of the Clean Air Act regulations and applicable National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants, Greenhouse Gas Reporting, and state‑specific requirements.
- Basic knowledge of RCRA, EPCRA, SPCC, NPDES, OSHA, NFPA, and corresponding state regulations.
- Demonstrated fundamental knowledge through effective use of emissions modeling software (e.g., US EPA TANKS 4.0.9d, E&P Tanks, GRI Glycalc & &E Promax).
- Optical Gas Imaging certification (preferred).
- Experience with air pollution modeling or screening software (preferred).
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; safety as a top priority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
Handles a range of straight‑forward environmental situations in air, water, or waste, building capabilities over time.

- Researches governmental and industry standards for compliance requirements.
- Prepares environmental reports, plans, and inventories for regulatory authorities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum two (2) years’ environmental experience.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; safety as a top priority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
