- Pay range: $18.00–$23.00 /hr (actual offer varies by location, experience and skill level)
We are currently looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant is a key component of our care team and works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience. Because of our unique model, our Medical Assistants oversee the full spectrum of the patient experience—acting both as a medical receptionist and assuming clinical responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked
- Review previous medical information and gather updated health information from patients to inform the provider
- Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures; work with contracted labs for additional tests
- Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations per provider order
- Partner with other care team members to develop individualized patient care plans and address gaps in care
- Perform front‑desk duties: patient scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, coordinate specialist visits and referrals, check‑in, check‑out, etc.
- Record accurate and pertinent data in the medical record per documentation guidelines
- Process test results and provide patients with timely results via e‑message, mail or phone as directed
- Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible patient groups
- Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care (varies by clinic needs)
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program
- National or state‑specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; certification or registration is required where applicable
- CPR/BLS certification required at start date
- Phlebotomy experience is preferred
