Role OverviewThis is an onsite IT support role ideal for candidates with experience in end user computing. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues at the customer location, helping users resolve hardware and software problems and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation.
Responsibilities- Primarily support end user devices such as the following:
- Microsoft products (e.g. Windows 11, Microsoft Outlook)
- iPhone configuration
- Intune
- Team Viewer
- Excellent communication skills
- Network knowledge
- WIN
11 Imaging - Local and network printer knowledge
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Teams
- IT Asset Inventory
- Thermal printer support
- Handheld Scanner support
- Video Conferencing equipment
- Experience in Service Now ticketing system
- Previous experience supporting IT in a plant environment
NOTE:
Wearing of steel‑toed shoes required.
- Good understanding of PC and printer hardware
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with standard office applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN)
- Exposure to ticketing tools (Service Now)
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
- Reliability, professionalism and a hands‑on working style
- Technical college diploma or equivalent in computer science or related field
- A+ Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- OEM certifications (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Lexmark, IBM) are an advantage and may be required depending on assignment
