• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned exempt and non-exempt direct reports.
• Negotiate pricing agreements with major component suppliers.
• Create and implement department policies and standards.
• Prepare materials schedules in coordination with all operations departments.
• Oversee materials reduction and return programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform all duties assigned by immediate supervisor and/or management.

The Buyer is responsible for understanding and working towards company goals and objectives as well as actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.

• College degree or equivalent experience in engineering or manufacturing operations preferred.
• Five or more years of purchasing experience.
• Excellent leadership capabilities.
• An engineering background is helpful/preferred.
