This position is based at our North Canton, Ohio manufacturing plant.

CNC Brake Press Operator - Set up and operates a CNC Brake Press to manufacture parts from sheet metal. Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machine
• Read and understand production assembly drawings
• Use measuring tools, calipers, tape measure
• Identify and distinguish between material types / gauges
• Check work for accuracy and completeness
• Follow standard shop practices and verbal instructions
• Understand and adhere to established procedures and work instructions

The Brake Operator is responsible for understanding and working towards company goals and objectives as well as actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1-2 years of CNC Brake Press Operator experience
• Ability to read and understand documents written in standard English
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
• Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Be safety and quality-oriented, accountable, dependable, reliable, productive, ethical, a strong communicator, innovative, a team player, and have a positive attitude
