Quality Control Inspector at Stolle Machinery Company LLC

Second Shift Position: 4:30 pm to 5:00 am, Monday through Thursday.

This position is responsible for dimensionally inspecting in-process and final machined parts primarily using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and other typical inspection equipment. The role also assists manufacturing personnel with accurate and timely inspections and performs calibration of hand‑held measurement instruments.

• CMM programming and operation.
• Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final dimensional inspections.
• Gauge calibration.
• Assist all manufacturing personnel with measurements and gauging.
• Perform receiving inspection and subcontracted processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Work with manufacturing personnel to improve processes and overall manufacturing quality.
• Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate level CMM programming and operation experience is a must.
• Zeiss Calypso software experience desired.
• ASQ certificate in Mechanical Inspection is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of machined details.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week, which may include on‑call status, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Individual must be capable of occasionally lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods and capable of climbing stairs.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, hearing protection, hand and foot protection or other specific PPE as required.
• Work with or around various oils, coolants and other common machine shop chemicals.
• Must be able to speak English and work in a team environment.
