Job Summary
Safely and effectively set up and operate CNC lathes, manufacturing precision hardware from blueprints and existing programs.

1st and 2nd shifts available.

• Complete all setups and efficiently run moderate to very complex parts on CNC lathes following detailed setup instructions.
• Consistently meet critical engineering specifications as shown on engineering prints.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Identify process improvements and incorporate necessary changes.
• Develop well‑documented setup sheets, tool lists, and other associated documentation necessary for efficient manufacturing of machined parts.
• Communicate with manufacturing management staff and machinists for shift change‑over and process requirements.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines (grease, oil, coolant, filters).

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience setting up and operating CNC lathes, machining various materials.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to read and understand machine programs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work from verbal and/or written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Perform duties in conjunction with EHS personnel to ensure safety of self and others.

• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods; ability to climb stairs.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) – eye protection, hearing protection, hand and foot protection, or other required PPE.
• Work with or around oils, coolants, and other common machine‑shop chemicals.
• Must speak English and work in a team environment.
