Must reside within the North Central Jurisdiction (NCJ)
Compensation: $30,000 annually, plus travel expenses

As the administrator makes progress on expressed goals, salary may increase in relation to effective work.

The OpportunityWe are seeking a proactive and passionate Development Administrator to be the driving force behind our fundraising and donor relations. In this role, you will cultivate meaningful relationships and secure the financial resources necessary to support and expand the vital mission work of NCJ UMVIM. Your success will be directly linked to the growth of our ministry's impact. The time commitment for this role is to be negotiated.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individuals, churches, corporations, and foundations to secure financial support.
- Develop and nurture long-term donor engagement, including the cultivation of legacy gifts.
- Plan and execute strategic fundraising events and campaigns to achieve financial goals.
- Research and identify grant opportunities from church agencies and private foundations.
- Write and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding.
- Partner with the Jurisdictional Coordinator and Board of Directors to create promotional materials that convey our organization’s mission and impact.
- Attend and actively participate in all NCJ UMVIM Board meetings as a member of the staff without vote.
- Quarterly meetings with the Development Committee to monitor, assess, and report on the financial needs and goals of the ministry.
- Plan and conduct programs and activities designed to increase the visibility of UMVIM-NCJ.
- Travel throughout the jurisdiction as needed to represent UMVIM-NCJ and engage with stakeholders.
- Recruit and train volunteers to support fundraising and outreach goals.

You are proficient with the computer and technology skills needed to accommodate your responsibilities. You are also open to training and continued professional development.
