Retail Scan Associate (North Canton, OH 44720)
This is a permanent part‑time role. As a Scan Scape Retail Scan Associate, you will visit a selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is used to improve sales performance for the product and the retailer.

- ALLIANCE OH 44601 Conv – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday
- CANTON OH 44705 Conv – Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
- CANAL FULTON OH 44614 – Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
- MASSILLON OH 44646 – Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
- NORTH CANTON OH 44720 (Grocery Store) – Thursday or Friday
- ALLIANCE OH 44601 Wal‑Mart (Mass Retailer) – Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
You will perform in‑store data collection every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. We work with major brand retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and other national chains, as well as small independent retailers.
Using a downloadable app on your mobile phone, you will scan barcodes throughout each store. The position estimates 10‑17 hours per week, depending on store size and project requirements.
During each visit you will also:
- Provide the quantity for about 45% of the products scanned
- Complete Display Scanning of the entire store, which can take several hours
- Participate in Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work, performed almost every week
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
- Ability to endure long periods on your feet and reach 6 feet in the air
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Deadline‑driven self‑starter
- Access to reliable Wi‑Fi and tech savvy
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
