Position Summary

Essential Functions- Partner with a KAG Recruiter to pre‑screen driver applicants to determine interview eligibility.
- Perform thorough background investigations into the candidate’s work history, safety record, and the driver’s overall job fit via telephone or electronic communication.
- Be familiar with company, FMCSA and DOT requirements to qualify the driver candidate in accordance with regulation.
- Work directly with the driver candidate to obtain any additional documentation necessary to successfully finalize the application process.
- Coordinate travel arrangements with a vendor for new drivers to attend centralized safety classroom training.
- Collaborate with the KAG Recruiter to complete the final onboarding process which includes confirming receipt of all necessary DOT and company documents before hire.
- Verify completion of all KAG and regulatory required post‑offer testing (e.g., DOT medical exam, drug screen collection) and work with vendors to obtain additional information as needed.
- Escalate any driver file concerns or non‑negative results on applicant’s “Pre‑employment drug screen” to a Supervisor for immediate review.
- Provide professional and courteous communications at all times while focusing on excellent customer service to candidates as well as internal and external teams.
- High School Diploma required.
- 1 or more years experience working in an office or call center environment.
- Organized problem‑solver with strong people skills.
- Must be able to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through email.
- Ability to multitask and manage time/resources effectively.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Mon‑Fri day shift schedule.
