Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and assisting with compliance requirements. • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting workflows

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
