Your RoleAs an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service. Your expertise will help diagnose and fix vehicles, all while working in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our valued guests.
- Gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding guest needs.
- Work together with fellow technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve customers.
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Current ASE Certifications preferred;
Master and L1 certifications are a plus. - NC State Inspector License preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Strong experience with both domestic and import vehicles.
- Willingness to flag 40-50+ hours per week.
- Knowledge of reflashing/reprogramming processes and vehicle systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems.
- Diesel experience is helpful but not required.
- Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A desire for long-term career development.
- Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Ability to walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Capable of driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in navigating a computer.
