Your RoleAre you an energetic and upbeat automotive technician? Do you thrive on solving tough problems and delivering outstanding service? If so, we want you on our team! As an Automotive Technician, you will:
- Utilize your skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our valued guests.
- Gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with a team to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding guest needs.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to solve problems and achieve exceptional results.
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve customers.
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Current ASE Certifications preferred;
Master and L1 certifications are a plus. - NC State Inspector License preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Strong experience with both domestic and import vehicles.
- Willingness to work 40-50+ hours per week.
- Knowledge of reflashing/reprogramming processes and vehicle systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and more.
- Diesel experience is helpful but not required.
- Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A desire for long-term career development.
- A valid North Carolina driver’s license.
As an Automotive Technician, you should be prepared to:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Navigate tight spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Demonstrate dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Stand or walk for the majority of your workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
