Site Construction Superintendent - Utility Solar

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the on-site construction team, including subcontractors
• Coordinating and overseeing all work on site
• Attending weekly production and scheduling meetings
• Working with safety personnel, ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with quality standards
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Following the project schedule to ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure contractors are complying with applicable codes, standards and permit requirements
• Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals
• Ensure job site remains safe, clean and orderly
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
• Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs

• Minimum of 10 years of experience supervising construction projects in utility/ solar.
• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field is desirable, but not required
• Knowledge of quality, safety and health guidelines for construction job sites
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Project and Word
• Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents
• Valid driver s license with a driving record in good standing required
• Must meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck), lifting and carrying equipment/mechanical components (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), hand excavation/digging (using shovels/picks), carrying and climbing ladders, operating and working from man lifts, operating electric tools, (drills, saws, etc.), using hand tools, (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.), and providing services under various weather conditions
