Worship Leader - Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness ChurchWorship Leader Job Summary

Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated worship leader to join the church team. The worship leader directs and manages the worship services, including music selection, and provides spiritual guidance to the congregation. The worship leader will ensure that the services are engaging and meaningful for the members and guests, encouraging them to deepen their spiritual journey.

The worship leader will work side by side with the choir director.

Worship Leader Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead weekly worship services and special events
  • Select appropriate music for each service
  • Lead the congregation in worship through song and prayer
  • Ensure that the services remain engaging and spiritually encouraging
  • Participate in various church activities, such as small groups, outreach, family events, etc.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members of the congregation
  • Work with the choir director to ensure that all services are properly planned and executed
  • Manage the worship team and coordinate rehearsals
  • Be present for Sunday morning practice and service and Sunday evening practice and service, and be prepared to participate in special events such as VBS, revival services, weddings, etc.
    • Worship Leader Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be born-again and display a biblical life
  • 1+ years of experience leading worship services preferred
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency with musical instruments (keyboard, piano)
  • Knowledge of different styles of music, such as contemporary, praise and worship, traditional, and southern gospel
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and staff
  • Ability to effectively lead and engage a congregation in worship
  • A passion for worship and spiritual growth
