** Responsibilities of a Worship Pastor
** The worship pastor oversees leading and facilitating the worship and music aspect of our church. This role includes the planning of the sets for the worship, the gathering and supervision of the worship team, the holding of practices and rehearsals, and coordinating with the tech team(s) that run cameras and lights during worship sets.

The worship pastor also works in completing other pastoral care duties which may include home visits, weddings, funerals, and other things that fall under the purview of normal pastoral duties. This leader may also be called to lead worship on events that fall outside of a typical Sunday morning worship time (night of worship... volunteer banquet...), other events scheduled by the staff.##

** We are looking to fill our worship pastor role with someone who is first and foremost a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, with a keen awareness of the churches responsibility to fulfill the Great Commission outlined in Matthew 28:16-20, and how music helps accomplish that objective. We believe that the candidate should feel that this position is their calling from God, and that that they should have relevant knowledge in working with sounds, music, and technology related to the worship ministry of the church.

The candidate should also know how to lead volunteers and other worship staff members Biblically and spiritually, with humility, kindness, and love.
