Job Description Summary

• Serve as the front‑line contact for telephone and walk‑in customers, understanding equipment needs and delivering solutions.
• Negotiate and place orders while maintaining a professional, customer‑focused attitude.
• Provide strong administrative support and uphold Sunbelt’s reputation for quality service.

Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Employees may work indoors or outdoors as conditions require. Reasonable accommodations are available.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with construction/industrial tools and equipment.
• Previous equipment rental industry experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Solid computer and administrative skills.
• Successful completion of the DOT qualification process preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish, other language) skills may be preferred for certain locations.

Additional Experience

Related experience may include roles such as Account Manager, Rental Sales, Parts Sales, Service Manager, Customer Service Representative, Construction Manager, Tools Manager, Counter Sales Representative, Equipment Associate, Manager Trainee, Skilled Craftsman, and Brand Ambassador.

Salary Range
