• Location: Nags Head, NC 27959 - Outer Banks, North Carolina healthcare jobs in a stunning coastal setting
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $5,860 - $6,940
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Emergency Medicine (no call required)
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Shift Duration: 10-hour evening shifts
• Assignment Dates: December 14, 2025 - January 3, 2026
• Typical Shift Times: 6am-4pm or 12pm-10pm (varies by date)
• Average Patient Volume: 1.8 patients per hour (approx. 100 per day)
• Average Inpatient Census: 20

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABPS, ABFM, or ABIM accepted)
• Active North Carolina medical license and DEA registration required
• Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine clinical experience
• Availability for orientation prior to first scheduled shift

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department
• Perform standard Emergency Medicine and clinical procedures
• Respond to codes and participate in ICU/critical care duties as needed
• Collaborate with hospitalists for after hours admissions and clinical support
• Provide compassionate care in a fast-paced healthcare environment
