Summary:
UNC Physicians Network is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our new UNC Family Medicine at Wendell Falls clinic. This practice will be a full-service family practice, treating both children and adults.

Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:

• MD/DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine
• Previous experience supervising or working with advanced practice providers is a plus
• New grads are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to resolve difficult situations constructively
• Ability to work effectively with providers, clinical staff, and administration
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment at all levels within an organization

Additional Information:

• Education Requirements: Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, meeting Board Certification requirements; graduation from an accredited medical school
• Licensure/Certification: North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred;
  Board certified in Internal Medicine

  Prior hospitalist experience preferred

  Proficient in English communication

  High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills necessary for diagnosis

Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, use hands, talk, hear; occasionally stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach; lift up to 25 pounds; vision requirements apply.
