Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care for patients in [specialty, e.g., family medicine, pediatrics, etc.].
Examinations:
Perform physical exams, review medical history, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
Medical Records:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with nursing staff, other physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Patient
Education:
Advise and educate patients on wellness, prevention, treatment options, and follow-up care.
Prescriptions & Treatments:
Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up care.
Continuing
Education:
Stay current with medical advancements, best practices, and medical regulations through professional development and training.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
Licensure:
Valid medical license in North Carolina.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
Work Schedule:
Flexible part-time hours, minimum 2 days per week.
