JOB DESCRIPTION: A reputable healthcare center near Beulaville, NC, is seeking a qualified General Cardiologist to provide locums coverage for their thriving cardiology practice. This opportunity welcomes providers with at least two years of cardiology experience, and those interested in performing invasive cardiology procedures are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• Board certification in General Cardiology
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Coverage Period: As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Call Coverage:

• Weekdays (Mon Fri): 5:00 pm 7:00 am
• Weekends (Sat and Sun): 7:00 am - 7:00 am (24 hours)
• Call responsibilities include answering phone calls and may require hospital consultations and rounding on the weekends.

Hospital Procedures:

• Nuclear Stress Test
• ECHO
• TEE
• Cardioversion

Inpatient Duties:

• Rounding with Advanced Level Practitioners on existing inpatients
• New patient consults
• Reading echocardiograms
• Performing TEEs
• Conducting cardioversions
• Reading nuclear stress tests
