• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $6,350 - $7,520 per week

• Position Type: Locum tenens physician (Travel)
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient urgent care clinic
• Location: Cashiers, North Carolina (ZIP 28717)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, no call
• Shift: 12‑hour night shifts
• Patient Volume: 14‑18 patients per day
• Contract Duration: Approx. 24 weeks (10/1/2025 - 3/18/2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Clinical Support: Medical Assistant assigned; additional APP onsite
• EMR System: Cerner
• Onsite Labs: Available

• Board‑certified physician (MD or DO) - urgent care experience preferred
• Active North Carolina medical license
• Active North Carolina DEA registration
• Eligible for Medicaid/Medicare participation
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care or outpatient healthcare setting

• Deliver high‑quality patient care in an outpatient urgent care clinic
• Manage a daily patient load of 14‑18
• Collaborate with onsite Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Medical Assistants
• Document and manage patient records using Cerner EMR
• Maintain professional, business casual appearance
• Support continuity of care and minimize provider turnover
