Position Summary

The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) invites candidates for a nine‑month tenure‑track, Assistant Professor position in Western Carolina University’s (WCU) CAA accredited CSD program. Expected begin work date is August 2026.

Responsibilities include teaching, conducting research, and supervising/advising students in undergraduate/master’s degree programs.

Teaching opportunities tied to program need/candidate expertise – particular areas of interest for this position include speech sound disorders, resonance disorders, voice disorders, and/or feeding/swallowing disorders. Mentorship is provided.
