General lab and stockroom maintenance; including cleaning up and assisting instructors in preparing class demonstrations, documents, and procedures.

Students must be enrolled in AT LEAST 6 credit hours to qualify for FWS Program

Part-time opportunity. Students may work up to 15 hours per week, depending on their unmet need on their FASFA.

This listing is intended for students that will attend Surry Community College during the  academic year and have need determined by the federal government. Preparation for weekly experiments:
This includes but is not limited to maintaining a clean and organized lab area/equipment, preparing the solutions for weekly experiments, creating documents/handouts, and writing questions for the online question bank.

Applicant must be at least 16 years or older and have taken at least one semester of chemistry.

Applicant must have the ability to work 5 or more hours per week.

One semester of biology (preferred but not required).

Applicant must have the ability to lift at least 10 pounds.

Work area located in the T-Building.

On Campus: $14.00/hour.
