Master’s Degree or higher in Health, Physical Education, or related disciplines for major courses or alternate professional competencies, related professional certifications, and related work experience. All education must be documented from an appropriately accredited institution or certified as equivalent to the required accredited education.

Ability to teach weekdays and/or evenings.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Describe the specific job duties related to this competency

• Prepare all course materials and lessons for general education health courses, major courses in Physical Education, and physical activity courses.
• Provide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations, timelines, and an approved syllabus.
• Provide engaging, relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes.
• Suitably challenge, engage, serve, and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning while maintaining mutual value and respect.
• Complete grade books, mid-term and final grade submissions, learning assessments, and final exam assessments on a timely basis.
• Respond to student questions on a timely basis.
• Ensure course and program learning outcomes are delivered as defined by the syllabus.
