Position: Operations Technician I, II or III LNG
Location: Ramseur

. As an LNG Operations Technician III, you will lead critical tasks to maintain facility equipment, oversee compliance with regulations, and manage cryogenic liquefaction and vaporization processes. The role offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge technology and develop skills in a vital energy field.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Perform tasks to safely maintain equipment and support operations; test, calibrate, and validate process safety devices and equipment.
  • Analyze data and collaborate with others to solve technical or operational problems.
  • Follow all company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Install and maintain electrical equipment associated with power distribution systems and electrical safety code, including electrical switch gear, instrumentation, measurement, motor controls, control loops, distributed control systems, Allen‑Bradley PLCs, AC and DC electrical systems.
  • Acquire knowledge of and adhere to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, protecting community, personnel, environment, and assets.
  • Maintain general knowledge of site, location, equipment, and specific permits and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot, operate, repair, and maintain mechanical XVIII and electrical abuse of both low and high voltage equipment and uninterruptible power supply systems; remove, repair, and reinstall sensing elements for flow, temperature, pressure, and levelację measurement.

Qualified to operate the LNG facility in holding mode (boil‑off gas), liquefaction, and vaporization processes as well as all associated tasks. Must be able to operate all utility and emergency systems in the facility independently when required. Carries out moderate to highly sophisticated technical assignments with limited oversight.

Qualifications – Level Specific

Operations Technician III – LNG

  • Required:

    High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in the natural gas industry or equivalent.
  • Preferred:
    Associate’s degree or 2‑year technical degree and technical licenses/certificates.

Operations Technician II – LNG

  • Required:

    High school diploma or GED and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in the natural gas industry.
  • Preferred:
    Associate’s degree or two‑year technical degree.

Operations Technician I – LNG

  • Required:

    High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred:
    Associate’s degree or two‑year technical degree with minimum six (6) months of mechanical, technical, or controls systems experience in the oil and gas industry or a summer internship with an associate’s degree.
Other Requirements
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for embracing technology to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, and prioritization of safety.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC skills, advanced knowledge of process control systems and PLCs.
  • Capability to pass a pre‑employment physical examination following a conditional offer.
Physical and Environmental Work Requirements
  • Work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces.
  • Carry and lift items weighing at least 50 lb.
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat frequently.
  • Work at elevated levels on lifts, ladders, scaffolding, or small towers with appropriate PPE.
  • Use hand tools.

Shift / Work Hours / Travel Requirements
  • Ability to work after hours, on‑call rotations, nights, weekend shifts, and holidays as needed.
  • May be required to work overtime, 10–12 hour shifts, extended hours, and travel between Williams locations, including occasional overnight stays.
