We are a world leader in sulphur processing seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer to join our plant operations team at our Chetwynd, British Columbia plant. Shift work is 12 hours, week on, week off alternating days and nights. Starting wage is $52.10/hour plus travel allowance.

Responsibilities and required qualifications are listed below.

• Ensure equipment is used safely, effectively, and efficiently to maximize production and product quality. Particular attention paid to time management, quality of work, and housekeeping.
• Ability to understand and operate equipment and all aspects of the plant operation.
• Must be able to follow company policies, procedures and competency-based training programs.
• Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork generated by their daily duties.
• Other duties as required.

• 4th Class Power Engineering Trade Certification
• Heavy Equipment operation experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Safety tickets: H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS is considered an asset
• Railcar handling experience is an asset
• Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates may be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
