* Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
* Strong background in analog circuit design principles
* Proficiency with CAD tools (Mentor Graphics, Altium) and SPICE for circuit simulation and verification
* Experience leading design teams or projects
* Demonstrated troubleshooting ability using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
* Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and deliver solutions
* U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance Nice to Haves:
* High Voltage DC power systems and module design experience
* Experience with power topology design (watts to KW+ converters)
* Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design
* R&D background with advanced test/troubleshooting of circuit schematics
* Experience writing requirements, specifications, and verification procedures
* Prior success mentoring junior engineers and leading design reviews
Job Description:
As an Analog Design Lead, you will guide a cross-functional team responsible for developing advanced undersea communication systems. This role combines leadership with hands-on technical expertise in analog and high voltage electronic systems.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead a design team through product ownership from concept definition through release to manufacturing
* Direct and participate in design, development, modification, and evaluation of electronic components and integrated circuits for subsea applications
* Mentor junior engineers on design, testing, and problem-solving best practices
* Collaborate with system teams to define specifications and translate them into actionable designs
* Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and provide design guidance
* Conduct simulations and analyses (SPICE, Cadence) to validate designs
* Support production and test engineering during product transfer to manufacturing
* Interface with customers to troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
* Prepare product briefs, datasheets, and application notes
* Contribute to technology roadmaps and new product concepts What Sets You Apart
