Branch Services Manager II

Location:

Stokesdale, NC

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

Summary

The Branch Services Manager is responsible for daily operations and leadership of the branch and Relationship Bankers, ensuring exceptional customer service while adhering to bank policies, maintaining controls, mitigating risk, handling loan requests and assisting with the loan closing process. The manager works with the branch team to achieve their team scorecard goals and is responsible for achieving their own individual scorecard goals.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure achievement of branch sales goals through customer financial objectives and sales coaching. Provide leadership, hire, manage resources and staff, develop and attain sales goals, deliver customer service, and manage performance.
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with bank policies, managing internal controls and risk mitigation practices.
  • Maintain service excellence, ensuring Right By You quality customer service and consistent follow‑up.
  • Assist with consumer loan requests and loan closing processes, and correct loan exceptions timely.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with minimum 5 years of banking experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of branch operations, teller and customer service functions.
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and coach others based on bank operations knowledge.
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of associates and customers.
  • Knowledge of deposit, credit, loan, and non‑retail products.
  • Strong selling, referral, and service skills to effectively sell bank products.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Completion of teller training classes.
  • Completion of product knowledge, account maintenance, account opening, and consumer lending training classes.
  • Pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
