A Day in the Life:
What You Will Do

As a DSP, you are the heart of our mission—empowering people. Your core responsibilities include:

• Empowerment & Personal Care:
  Providing respectful, hands‑on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, grooming, and meal support.
• Behavioral Support & Advocacy:
  Serving as a compassionate partner, executing positive behavioral support, following person‑centered plans, and de‑escalating situations.
• Community & Integration:
  Bridging to the community—supporting individual goals, transportation to appointments, hobbies, and community‑based jobs.
• Health & Wellness:
  Administering medications, assisting with mobility, and preparing nutritious meals.

What You Bring To The Table (Qualifications)

No professional experience is required. We believe in hiring for heart and training for skill.

What We Require (Must‑Haves)

• A compassionate, patient, and encouraging attitude.
• 18 years old or older.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.

What We Value (Ideal Candidate)

• Experience as an unpaid family caregiver—skills in scheduling, advocacy, and care will be honorably recognized.
• Experience as a DSP, PCA, HHA, or CNA is a major plus.
• Experience supporting individuals with IDD, autism, or behavioral support needs is highly valued.
