Join our team as a Locum Tenens Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina! Approximately 2 hours from Merrit! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider healthcare professional to provide exceptional care in our Neuroscience ICU.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care exclusively in the Neuroscience ICU, effectively managing ICU level cases. Respond promptly to codes and deliver critical interventions as needed. Perform essential procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and vent management. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. 7am-7pm Coverage Dates:
July 1-7, July 7-9, August 5-6, August 25-31

Qualifications:

Must be an Acute Care Certified NP or PA with at least one year of provider experience. Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required. Proficiency in using the EPIC electronic medical records system. An average inpatient census of 20, with each provider managing around 4 patients per day and handling approximately 2 admissions daily.
