APP Opportunity | Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit in North Carolina! We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) near Newland, North Carolina. This locum tenens opportunity is well-suited for critical care professionals eager to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care for trauma, general surgery, vascular, neurosurgery, and surgical sub-specialty patients Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and other team members Document daily progress, perform procedures, and manage complex wound care Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, patient transfers, and discharge planning Educate patients and families on care plans Perform invasive procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central and arterial lines, and laceration repair

Qualifications:

Active North Carolina license and NC DEA certification (required) Prior critical care experience is mandatory Strong communication skills for working with diverse teams and patient populations Proficiency with Cerner EMR Schedule &

Contract:

12-hour shifts (6:00 AM ??? 6:00 PM), coverage 365 days per year Contract duration: 3 months Projected start date:
