Female Licensed Massage Therapist

Hourly Rate: $15.00 an hour with 50% commission.

• Specializes in deep tissue work. Able to do 3-6 hours in a day.
• Ashiatsu certified. (Preferred.)
• Follow the health and safety rules that have been put into place by Chattooga.
• Answers to the spa lead and director of the building and let them know of any supplies that need to be ordered/re-ordered.
• Massage soft body tissues to relieve discomfort and provide treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance or medical conditions.
• Apply pressure to specific parts of the body with the hands and fingers to release muscle tension and bring relief from related symptoms.
• Discuss client concerns, medical histories and specific stresses or pains to develop the most effective approach to massage treatment.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for individual clients that specify massage types, treatment areas and treatment frequency.
• Propose final treatment plans to clients and implement them only after client acceptance and agreement.
• Refer clients to other professionals and therapists when appropriate and necessary to treat additional symptoms.
• Prepare oil blends for clients’ skin and perform other treatment techniques and therapies in addition to massage.
• Keep their service rooms in a neat and clean state at all times.
• Help with laundry and put the towels, linens, face cradles, etc. in their correct location.
• Will be responsible for keeping the dispensary room clean and organized.

• Hold a current state massage therapy license.
• Adhere to all current regulations and laws related to massage therapy.
• Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality.
• Ability to pass a background check.

• Commitment to receiving continuing education.
• Customer service experience.

• NC Massage License
• 2-3 years of Massage Therapy experience
• Certified in Ashiatsu Massage (Preferred)
