- Provide compassionate care to patients and customers; advise patients on prescriptions and help manage chronic and specialty conditions
- Support the team to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions while offering caring service that exceeds customer expectations
- Work in a leading retail pharmacy environment with high professional and ethical standards and compliance with Federal, State and Local laws
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements per your State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines (duties may be restricted by the manager until requirements are met)
- Build clinical, technical and insurance knowledge through available tools and training to advance your pharmacy career
- Be prepared to adapt to fast-paced environments while demonstrating compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Licensure requirements vary by state
- Attention and Focus; ability to concentrate on a task over time without distraction
- Customer Service Orientation; actively help people in a friendly manner and respond to customer reactions
- Communication Skills; verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues; active listening
- Mathematical Reasoning; ability to use math to solve problems (e.g., calculating day’s supply of a prescription)
- Problem Resolution; ability to identify issues and choose appropriate actions
- Remaining upright for sustained periods; movement around the work area
- Fine motor tasks (picking, pinching, typing) and reaching in various directions
- Standing, bending, stooping, and carrying items up to 30 lbs occasionally
- Visual acuity required for reading and using computer terminals
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $16.50 - $25.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
