    Day Shifts & Night Shifts – flexibility required
General Responsibilities:
  • Provide care to residents ensuring their independence is promoted and that residents’ dignity is maintained at all times. This will involve following your clients care plan – assistance with personal care and mobility.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with residents and their families.
  • Adhering to confidentiality policy at all times.
  • Ensuring resident safety at all times.
  • Deliver high quality care and assistance to our residents – personal care, toileting, moving & transferring.
  • Communicate any changes or concerns in relation to resident needs/care.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and Infection Prevention and Control regulations.
  • Assisting in maintaining a physical environment that is safe, peaceful, and comfortable for all residents and employees alike.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Healthcare/social care related qualification OR relative experience in a similar environment.
  • Availability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends, across Monday to Sunday is essential.
  • Practical experience in a caring capacity desired.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Professional, caring and empathetic nature.
  • Be comfortable working in a sometimes, challenging environment.
  • Experience in elderly care is desirable
  • Newly graduated Health Care Assistants are also welcomed to apply
