Schedule: 7:00pm - 7:00am 12hr Shifts for 3 Days and 1 Half Day 6hr Shift 7:00pm - 1:00am or 1:00am - 7:00pm | Alternating weeks/weekends

Patient Access Representative
you willbe the
first point of contact for patients

frontline healthcare customer service role
where you directlyimpactpatient experience, hospital operations, and revenue cycle success.
Provide
exceptional customer service
and assist patients and families with the check-in process working across multiple computer systems to register patients efficientlyAnswer phones and gather accurate
patient information quickly in a fast-paced environmentSupport
timely access to care
by minimizing delays in registration and answer questions with confidence, clarity, and compassionBuild trust with patients during moments when they may be ill, anxious, confused, or overwhelmed
Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details, enter demographics and medical data, collectco-paysand provide cost estimates when applicable
Collaborate
with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow

multitask and prioritize quickly with
high attention to detailComfortable with shifting priorities based on patient needs
Experience with patient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front deskis a plus (but not required)
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements
Experience in
healthcare administration & patient access
Exposure to
revenue cycle, insurance processes, and hospital operations
